6:00p Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night
Date:
Wednesday, September 20
Time:
6:00p - 7:00p
Where:
Spiritridge Elementary MPR
Curriculum Night is changing this year. Spiritridge' s Curriculum Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20th. Our goal this year is to make sure families feel welcome at Spiritridge and strong ties to the community. In an effort to build our new Spiritridge Community with our families, and to create a school where families feel engaged, informed, and supported, we are switching up our Curriculum Night structure this year. This year we are holding an Open House in place of Curriculum Night. Families (including children) are invited! You will be led on a school visit by your student. You will learn all about the classroom environment, the curriculum being taught, and important routines that happen in the classroom and all around the school. You'll have the opportunity to meet teachers and other school staff as well as other families.
Join us anytime between 6:00-7:00 on Wednesday, September 20th. Important additional notes: Some classrooms may still want to hold shorter presentations like we have in years' past. Your child's classroom teacher will reach out to you if this is the case for your child's class. The purpose of this night is to see the school through the eyes of your child. We ask that you stay with your child throughout the night. Due to the nature of the event, we want the teachers to have time to meet all families. Please be mindful of the time you spend engaging with your child's teacher to ensure they can meet with all families. Individual conference with classroom teachers will be scheduled in November. Thank you! Parking will be limited. If you are able to walk or carpool please consider doing this. If you park in the neighborhoods, please be considerate of parking signs and driveways. Information on grade level specific curriculum can be found at - https://bsd405.org/departments/teaching-and-learning/elementary-curriculum/ ics:
